Paul "PJ" Tinnell, 50, of Owensboro, was called home to be with the Lord, Saturday, January 23, 2016 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He had been diagnosed with Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis and had complications after his second liver transplant. PJ was born November 8, 1965, to the late Paul and Barbara Tinnell, had worked at Glenmore Distillery, and was a member of BridgePointe Church. He enjoyed sports, fishing, going to the beach and spending time with his family.
PJ is survived by his wife, Liana Tinnell; daughters, Shaina Tinnell and Felicia Tinnell; son, Jordan Tinnell; and the family bunny, Maxx, all at home; brother, Rick Tinnell of Georgetown; sisters, Kim Carter, Bobbie Jo Yeckering and Krista Glenn all of Owensboro; best friends, Shane McIntire, Lewis Mattingly and Jon Wells.
Services will be held at Noon on Thursday in the chapel of Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Wednesday and after 10 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Owensboro Memorial Gardens next to his mom and dad.
