Paul Moore

Paul Moore, 80, of917 Parkway Dr., Owensboro, died Wednesday, January 1, 2003 at the Owensboro Mercy Health System. The Daviess County native was retired from the Owensboro Fire Department after 29 years and was also a barber and owner of the Fleetwood Barber Shop. He also owned Paul Moore Realty and enjoyed hunting and fishing and was just elected Justice of the Peace in the Eastern Division. He was a member of the Good Shepherd Church.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Anna Russell Moore; two sons, Paul Gerald ''Jerry'' Moore of Owensboro and Larry Eugene Moore of Frankfort; a daughter, Paula Anne Moore of Owensboro; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services are 11:30 A.M. Saturday, January 4, 2003 at the Glenn Funeral Home with burial in Rosehill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-8 P.M. on Friday and after 9 A.M. on Saturday.
