Paul Eugene Jones

Paul Eugene Jones, 64, of 401 E. 7th. St., Owensboro, passed away on Wednesday, January 30, 2008, at his home. He was born in Daviess Co., Ky. to the late Claude and Mary Margaret Fischer Jones, Jr. He had been in the banking business for years having been with Owensboro National Bank for about 12 years and then moved to Henderson where he was with the Ohio Valley Bank for about 9 years. He had resided in New Albany, In. for 17 years during his early life coming back to Owensboro where he graduated from Brescia College. He was of the Catholic faith and had been working at Thrifty Bargain Supply in Fordsville. He enjoyed camping, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren, and was a U. S. Army veteran. His brother, Mike Jones also preceded him in death.

Surviving is his ex-wife and companion, Linda Jones of Henderson, two daughters, Kathy Bargiacchi of Marlboro, N. J., and Sharon Reisz of Evansville, and a son, Brian Jones of Bowling Green, Ky., five grandchildren, Garrett, Nicholas, and Sophia Bargiacchi, and twins, Jack and Sarah Reisz, and two stepgrandchildren, Brooke Inkenbrandt and Kendyl Reisz, four sisters, Shirley Heckman, Susan Jeffries, and Donna McQueary, all of New Albany and Debbie Best of Jeffersonville, In., and a brother, Charlie Hanson of New Albany, and two aunts, Jerry Crowe and Margaret Fischer, both of Owensboro

Services will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, February 4 at Glenn Funeral Home with burial following in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00-5:00 P.M. Sunday and after 8:30 A.M. Monday at the funeral home.
