Paul E. Johnson

Paul E. Johnson, 77, of Owensboro, passed away Thursday, December 24, 2015. Mr. Johnson was born
March 9, 1938 in Daviess County to the late William Roy Johnson and Margaret Higgs. He loved gospel and jazz music, going shopping, and was an avid reader.
Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Elaine Johnson in 2005; his brother, Howard Kelsey Jr. in 2001; and an infant son.
He is survived by his son, Craig Johnson of Frankfort; his daughter, Barbara Hammond of Owensboro; sisters-in-law, Gloria Kelsey of Owensboro and Sylvia J. Payton of Dickson, TN; nephew, David Newsom of Connecticut; niece, Teresa Hall of Owensboro; foster son, Alan Harrison of Mississippi; grandchildren, Damian and Tiah Brown of Owensboro and Danitra "Dee Dee" Brown of Florida; ten great-grandchildren; many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
The service will be 12:00 p.m. Saturday, January 2, 2015 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. Garry Martin officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. till time of service.
