Paul Francis Hodskins, 78, of Owensboro, was called "Home" to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 26, 2011. He was born in St. Joseph, KY on June 6, 1933 to the late Alphonsus Edmund "Allie" Hodskins and Mary Elizabeth Holinde and has always lived in Owensboro.
He was a member of Blessed Mother Catholic Church and retired from Bellsouth Telecommunications with 41 years of service. Paul enjoyed camping, woodworking, and family gatherings. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Hodskins on January 9, 2011, two brothers, Eugene B. Hodskins and Herman J. Hodskins, and a great grandchild, Hunter Williams.
He is survived by his six children, Kim (Steve) Marksberry of Owensboro, Jim (Becky) Hodskins of Goshen, KY, Tim (Linda) Hodskins, Kenny (Vickie) Hodskins, and Bill (Lawanna) Hodskins, all of Owensboro, and Linda (Victor) Green of Fairview, TX, 14 grandchildren, six great grandchildren, two brothers, James A. Hodskins and Henry E. Hodskins, both of Owensboro, and a sister, Mary Louis Tucker of Alabama.
Funeral services will be 10:30 A.M. Tuesday, November 29, at Blessed Mother Catholic Church. Entombment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Monday with prayers at 6:00 P.M. and after 9:00 A.M. Tuesday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory.
