Paul Eugene Clark

Paul Eugene Clark, 87, of Owensboro passed away Tuesday, November 1, 2016. He was at home with loved ones and family when he passed.

Paul was born in Marshalltown, Iowa to the late Thomas Gilmore Clark and Mary Martine Merimee Clark. He married Martha Annette Berry on September 21, 1948 at St. Stephen Cathedral.

From 1964 through 1986 Paul and Martha resided in Kwajalein, Marshall Islands where they were both employed by Global Associates; Paul as division manager and Martha as a secretary. They later transferred to the corporate office in Oakland, California where they lived until their retirement in 1996. Upon retirement, they returned to their original home in Owensboro, Kentucky.

Paul was a charter member of Immaculate Catholic Church, a member of the American Legion and an Honorable Kentucky Colonel.

Mr. Clark is survived by his son, Mark Eugene Clark and his partner in life, Ruth Carr.

He was preceded in death by his wife Martha "Marnette" Berry Clark; a son, Paul Michael Clark; a sister, Marilyn Clark Holder; and brothers, Wilfred, Robert, George and Richard Clark


A memorial mass will be held at Immaculate Catholic Church on Friday, November 11 at 10:00 AM with Father Tony Jones officiating.
