Patty S. Woosnam

Patty S. Woosnam, 65, of Owensboro passed away Thursday, January 28, 2010 at the Owensboro Medical Health System. Born in Owensboro on July 25, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Thelma Fister Clark; had worked at Big River Rubber and Gasket for 25 years as their accounts payable clerk; and was a member of Third Baptist Church. Mrs. Woosnam enjoyed karaoke and playing poker. She was a kind, sweet lady who always put the needs of others first. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Anna Fay Payne in 1995.

Surviving are her companion of 14 years, Rick Masterson; her daughters, Karena (and her husband Dale) Buskill of Owensboro and Kathy Ray of Livermore; a grandson, Brendan Grant of Owensboro; and a sister, Lois Jean Pate of Sorgho.

Services are 2 p.m. Saturday, January 30, 2010 in the chapel of Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with Dr. James Byrd officiating followed by burial in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. on Friday and after 12 noon on Saturday.
