Patty Carol Kirk

Patty Carol Wilkerson Kirk, 74, of Owensboro, died on July 7, 2014 at the Heartford House. She was born on January, 1, 1940 to the late James Wilkerson and Henrietta Galloway Wilkerson. Patty was a member of Owensboro Christian Church. She enjoyed spending time with family. Patty retired as a security guard with Security Services of America.

Patty is preceded in death by her sons; Douglas Kirk, and Roy Thomas Kirk, and brothers, Curtis Wilkerson and James Wilkerson, Jr.

Survivors include daughters; Joy (Steve) Brown of Maceo, Cynthia Lozano of Owensboro, sons; Randall Kirk and Charles Kirk of Owensboro, sisters; Odetta (Bill) Martin of Owensboro, Linda (Carl) Hayden of Owensboro, 14 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 12pm on Friday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Donnie Thomas will officiate. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3pm until 8pm on Thursday and 9am until the time of service on Friday at the Funeral Home.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Heartford House.
