Patsy J. Conger

Patsy J. Conger, 68, beloved wife and mother, passed away July 31, 2004 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. A native of Crittenden County, Kentucky, she was born January 16, 1936 to the late Dalton Earl and Nettie Campbell Owen. A strong willed lady, she bravely and courageously fought her illnesses and heart disease before God called her home.

Mrs. Conger retired from Walmart in Tell City, Indiana where she was a manager in the jewelry department.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, James and Frances Campbell; paternal grandparents, John and Gertrude Owen; a brother, Walter Malloy Owen; and a sister, Elsa Marie Owen.

She was presently a member of Hall Street Baptist Church, Owensboro and a previous member of Central Baptist Church, Hawesville, Kentucky.

Hobbies enjoyed by Mrs. Conger include traveling, playing golf, gardening, shopping, and spending time with family and friends through her church.

Survivors include her beloved husband of 50 years, Harold Conger; her loving daughters, Deborah Seibert and her husband Edward of Cannelton, Indiana and Carol Murphy and her husband Darryl of Owensboro; three grandchildren, Megan Olberding and her husband Josh of Cannelton, Indiana, and Sarah and Brittany Murphy both of Owensboro; one great-grandchild, Madison Olberding of Cannelton, Indiana; two brothers, Dalton D.E. and his wife Edna Owen of Francis, and Mark and Vena Owen, of Henderson; two sisters, Willella Brown and Sue and William ''Red Hudson, both of Evansville; an uncle, Aaron Campbell of Clarksdale, Mississippi; and 16 neices and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M.Tuesday, August 3, at Glenn Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be Monday, August 2 from 1:00 8:00 P.M. and from 9:00 A.M. 1:00 P.M. Tuesday at Glenn Funeral Home. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
