Patrick Allen Bickett

Patrick Allen Pat Bickett, 46, of Calhoun, died Wednesday, July 11, 2007 at his home. Pat was a Daviess County native, born to the late Dennis and Kathleen (Rumage) Bickett. He was a member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church in Calhoun. He farmed, raised cattle, and was owner and operator of Bicketts Tiling and Excavating.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Cathy Higdon Riney.

Surviving are his wife of 25 years, Julie Anne Bickett, his children, John, Jan, and Brent Bickett, all of Calhoun, brothers and sisters, Tony Bickett of Illinois, Shirley Warren of Mississippi, Diane Bickett of Owensboro, Ricky Bickett of Bremen, and Gail Kight of Utica, his mother-in-law, Helen Higdon Hermann, brother and sisters in law, Joe Higdon, Holly Reynolds and Susan Knott, all of Owensboro as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 14, 2007 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church with burial following in St. Alphonsus Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to8 p.m. Friday and after 9 a.m. Saturday at Glenn Funeral Home. The Rosary will be recited at 4:30 p.m. Friday. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Mitchell Cancer Center.
