Patricia Sue Westerfield

Patricia Sue Westerfield, 49, of Evansville passed away Monday, December 1, 2008 at her home from complications from a long illness. Born in Owensboro on March 31, 1959, she was the daughter of the late A.D. and Mary Mildred Myers Westerfield; a registered nurse who had worked at Deaconess Hospital and the Mulberry Center in Evansville; and a member of the Harwood Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially camping and her cabin in Booneville, and playing softball.

She is survived by 7 brothers and sisters, Joe (Susie) Westerfield, Kathryn (Rod) Crowe, Tony (Bonnie) Westerfield, and Cecelia (John) Cox all of Owensboro, Allen (Sandy) Westerfield of Lexington, Bill (Julia) Westerfield of Ooletawah, TN, and Mary Ann (Charlie) Lindsay of Evansville; and many nieces and nephews.

Services will begin with prayers at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, December 6, 2008 with Father Carl McCarthy officiating followed by the funeral service officiated by Pastor Karl Crowe. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. on Friday and after 9 a.m. Saturday at Glenn Funeral Home.
