Patricia Brinkley Vinson

Patricia Brinkley Vinson, 86, of Newburgh, IN, formerly of Owensboro, passed away on Sunday, July 20, 2014 at Deaconess Heart Hospital in Newburgh, IN. She was born on May 2, 1928 in Henderson Co., KY to the late Willie "Bill" and Lillie Killman Brinkley. She was a retired employee of the City of Owensboro having worked with the Police Department as a records clerk and was of the Baptist faith. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Elisha Young Vinson in 1993 and a brother Charles Leo Brinkley.

Surviving are a brother, George Willie Brinkley and wife Barbara of Henderson, a nephew, George Irvin Brinkley and wife Ruth of Newburgh, a niece, Evelyn Marie Keever and husband John of Hudson, FL, and an in-law, Twyla Matsumoto of Laguna Beach, CA, and a very close friend, Sharon McLean and husband Mike of Owensboro.

There will be no visitation or services. Mrs. Vinson had requested to be cremated. Burial will be in Meeks Cemetery in Princeton, KY. Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory are in charge of arrangements.
