Patricia "Dianne" Peyton

Patricia "Dianne" Peyton, 67, of Owensboro died Friday, August 31, 2018 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Mrs. Peyton was born August 11, 1951 in Daviess County to William Tweddell and the late Irene Dowers Tweddell. Dianne attended Owensboro High School and married Walter Gene Peyton right after graduation in 1969. They had a son, Patrick, while Gene served in the Army. Dianne enjoyed being a wife, mother, and homemaker as well as spending time with her family and friends. She was a very generous person who was involved in the BellSouth Pioneers Christmas Wish program. Dianne was an avid fan of the UK Wildcats and loved watching them play basketball. The family would like express sincere appreciation to Sandy and all of Dianne's close friends for their love and support.

Mrs. Peyton was also preceded in death by her husband of 42 years in 2012 and her mother, Irene Tweddell.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Patrick Peyton; her father, William "Bill" Tweddell both of Owensboro; and best friend, Sandy Grimsley of Utica.

A Celebration of Life will be 10:00 am Wednesday, September 5 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be Tuesday from 3:00 till 7:00 pm and Wednesday from 9:00 till 10:00 am at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Owensboro Memorial Gardens.
