Patricia Marie "Tisa" Bumm

Patricia Marie Crisp Bumm passed away on   Feb. 15, 2024, while under the care of Hospice and Palliative Care of Western Kentucky. She was born in Owensboro on March 17, 1931, to Lawrence and Emma Howard Crisp, and was the youngest of 10 children. She was a longtime member of St. Martin Catholic Church.

 Known as “Tisa” to everyone, she grew up in Whitesville and after graduating from St. Mary’s High School went to work at General Electric. She married Nicholas Bumm on April 26, 1952. In the past, Tisa and Nick enjoyed square dancing and were members of the Merry Makers.

Tisa enjoyed crafting holiday decorations and loved decorating for Christmas. She enjoyed reading, working puzzles, playing cards and Bunco, and spending time with family.

 She was proceeded in death by her parents, her 6 brothers and 3 sisters, her husband of 57 years, Nicholas Bumm Sr, and her son Nicholas Bumm Jr.

 Tisa is survived by her daughters Cindy (Ralph) Rivera of Elburn, IL, Bonnie (Steve) Bittel of Owensboro, son Jeff Bumm of Hawesville, and daughter-in-law Janine Bumm; grandchildren Nicholas Bumm lll, Joseph Rivera, Thomas Rivera, Matthew Rivera, David Rivera, Stephen Rivera, Michael Rivera, Katie Goins, Amy Pruitt, Jackson Bittel, and Danielle Bumm; and 13 great grandchildren.

 The funeral Mass will be 10:00 a.m. Monday at St. Martin Catholic Church.  Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.  Visitation will be 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Sunday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with prayers beginning at 6:30 p.m.  Additional visitation will take place from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service Monday, at the church.

 In lieu of flowers, the family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Hospice and Palliative Care of Western Kentucky, 3419 Wathens Crossing, Owensboro, KY 42301, or St. Martin Catholic Church.
