Patricia Sue Kassinger-Allen

Patricia Sue Kassinger-Allen, 79, of Owensboro, passed away Saturday November 2, 2024, at the Heartford House while under the care of Hospice and Palliative Care of Western Kentucky. She was born March 21, 1945, in Owensboro, to Raymond and Mary Alice Dever Kassinger. Patty was a 1963 graduate of Owensboro High School where she was a cheerleader and prom queen. She worked as a dispatcher for the Owensboro Police Department, home health care sitting with and taking care of her patients, and as an office manager for Kassinger Properties here in Owensboro. Outside of work, Patty enjoyed watching UK basketball and collecting UK memorabilia, and was an avid fan of true crime shows on TV. Patricia loved her family dearly, and one of her favorite ways of showing her love to them was preparing meals and desserts for family gatherings.

She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Kassinger; and a son-in-law, Eugene Hillard.

Patty is survived her mother, Mary Alice Kassinger; a daughter, Kelly Hillard; two sons, Kevin (Cathy) Wilkerson and Keith Wilkerson; grandchildren, Tyler, Logan, and Evan Hillard, and Justin, Ben, and Katie Wilkerson; five great-grandchildren; her two brothers, Randy (Carolyn) Kassinger and Ray (Sheila) Kassinger; also several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service for Patty will be at 12 p.m. Thursday November 7, 2024, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with Brother Eugene Howard officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service Thursday at the funeral home. The entombment will be in Christ Chapel at Owensboro Memorial Gardens.
