Patricia A. Hunter

Patricia A. "Nana" Hunter, 71, of Owensboro, passed away at her home on Tuesday, February 04, 2014. She was born in Owensboro to Luther P. and Marjorie M. Ashby.

Patricia was a loving and dedicated homemaker who enjoyed crafts and cooking. She had also served as a part time private duty caregiver at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital for many years. Patricia was a member of River Tree Church.

She was preceded in death by her father and a sister, Connie Libbs.

Patricia is survived by a daughter, Traci Murphy (David) of Philpot; sons, Marc Hunter, Brian Hunter (Carolyn), Shawn Hunter and David Hunter (Waylon Ramming), all of Owensboro; mother, Marjorie M. Ashby of Owensboro; grandchildren, Joshua and Jarrod Murphy, Gabby Hunter, Devin and Dalyn Hunter, Hope Ramming, Chris and Jamie Hunter, Kelsie Roberts and Andrea Wedding; 16 great grandchildren; a brother, James Ashby (Lorraine) of Maceo; half- brother, Toya Ashby of Owensboro; and several nieces and nephews.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the family of Ms. Hunter.

Private services will be held. Final interment will be at Rosehill Cemetery.
