Patricia Allen Dumont

Patricia Allen Dumont, 76, a loving wife, mother and grandmother, died Tuesday, October 11, 2005. Patsy was born in Stanley, Kentucky and was a 1946 graduate of Daviess County High School. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Jessie Miller. Patsy was a retired customer service/business representative with Bell South in Owensboro.
She loved her family, church, her Homemakers Club, and her Pioneer Friends from Bell South. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church, and a lifelong resident of Owensboro. Most recently she had been living with her family in Texas.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Leo Dumont, sons Mike and wife Vicki Dumont of Southlake, Texas, Jerry and wife Cindy Dumont of Grapevine, Texas, and Rick and wife Becky Dumont of Marietta, Georgia. She had four grandchildren, Matt, Jeremy, Nick and Avery Dumont, two sisters, Stella Neel of Evansville, Indiana, Ruth Reisz of Fresno, California, a brother, Don Miller of Owensboro, two sisters-in-law, Julia Hartsuiker of Bedford, Texas and Margaret Ruth Miller of Owensboro.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Alzheimer Foundation.
The family will receive friends at Glenn Funeral Home, Friday, October 14, 2005 from 4 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted by Dr. David Nelson at Glenn Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, October 15, 2005 at 11:30 a.m. Entombment will be in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. There will be no visitation on Saturday prior to services.
