Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sister, Joan Reczek.

Pat leaves behind to mourn her passing her husband of 45 years, Alex Monanteras; a son, Pete (Renee Wicinski) Calacci; her stepchildren, Jim (Reneah) Monanteras, Michael (Kelly) Monanteras, and Kassandra (Jeff) Chappell; grandchildren, Austin Runyon, Tyler (Gloria) Sherman, MacKenzee (Cole) Lusnak, Madeline (Chris) Terry, Jonas Monanteras, Abigail Chappell, Allison (Landon) Marcum, Cole (Rae) Monanteras, Avery (Seth) Fenwick, and Mia Monanteras; also, 5 great-grandchildren. Pat was a member of St. Iakovos Greek Orthodox Church. She retired after 30 years working as a Customer Service Representative for Inland Steel. Pat and her husband Alex were deeply devoted to each other and were the best of friends. Pat, lovingly referred to as “Memaw Pat” by her grandchildren, had several hobbies she enjoyed such as scrapbooking, bead art, and jigsaw puzzles. She also loved watching sports. Her favorites included UK Basketball, Tiger Woods, and especially, Chicago Cubs baseball.

She loved animals and had two dogs, Rocky Dog and Daisy Mae whom she was crazy about. Pat was happiest surrounded with friends and family. She met with her Talbots work friends for lunch and spent evenings with her grandchildren watching movies, playing cards, and baking.

Pat can never be replaced, and we will mourn her loss deeply. May her memory be eternal.

A visitation time for family and friends of Pat will be held from 4-8 pm Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory, with a time for reflection and prayer with Pastor Jamus Edwards at 6 pm.
