Patricia "Patty" Beck

Patricia “Patty” Beck, 68, of Owensboro, passed away August 26, 2026, at Continue Care Hospital in Madisonville. She was born in Hardinsburg on February 12, 1958, to the late Beverly Gene Clark and Lenora Jean Shadwick Terry. Patty was a graduate of Brescia College and earned a degree in diesel mechanics. She loved crafts and was especially good at crocheting and had the patience of Job. There wasn’t someone who met her that didn’t like her. She tried always to remain positive, but was not afraid to stand her ground. Most of all, Patty loved spending time with her closest family and friends.

She was also preceded in death by her brother, Barry Shannon Clark.

Patty is survived by her daughters, Jessie Clark and Salena Marie Beck; brothers, Tracy (Mary) Clark and Ramon (Lynn) Clark; half-sister, Lena Goodman; stepsister, Debbie (John) Whittaker; aunts, Diane Crask and Dorothy “Dot” (Charlie) Meserve; close friends Vanessa Coleman and Eric Vollman and a host of cousins.
