Paris Karlee Lokanin

Paris Karlee Lokanin, 40, of Owensboro, passed away on Saturday October 24, 2026, at her home. She was born March 19, 1986, in Soldotna, Alaska, a place she was proud to call home.

Paris was a strong, hardworking woman who did everything she could to build a better life for herself and her daughter. She worked at TTMA for many years, where she was a familiar face and a welcome presence among her colleagues. Paris had a playful sense of humor and loved making those around her laugh. She enjoyed watching Star Wars and Marvel movies, taking long drives with her music turned up, and spending time outdoors hiking and exploring. She also had a great eye for style and loved shopping and decorating her home.

Family was always close to Paris's heart. Even after leaving her beloved Alaska and relocating to Kentucky, she made a point to call home every week to stay connected with the people she loved. Above all, Paris treasured her daughter and the time they spent together. The memories they made and the love they shared were among the most precious parts of her life.

She was preceded in death by a son, Zaden Lokanin-Jackson; and uncle, Jack McCord; and a cousin whom she considered a “brother” Carl McCord.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Alexys Lokanin; mother, Beverly McCord; and father, Archie Lokanin; sisters, Renee Harp and Carolyn Lokanin; nieces and nephews, Alicia Harp, Kapua Harp, Naulie Harp, Kaihiwa Harp, and Ma’awi Harp; aunts and uncles, Melissa “Missy” McCord, Emil McCord, and Marlene Braun; also, a special close friend, Heather Mariotto.

Paris will be laid to rest in Tyonek Cemetery in her native Village of Tyonek in Alaska, on the Kenai Peninsula.

Care by Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory.
