Pamela Kay Spurrier, 61, of Owensboro, joined the Lord on July 6, 2024 surrounded by her family and friends at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Pam was born on May 1, 1963, in Daviess County, to Norman and Ann Cambron.
Pam is preceded in death by her father, Norman Camrbon; her grandparents, Henry Estel Cambron and Beulah Mae Cambron, also, Leo and Luversa Kamuf; and infant sister, Doris Ann Cambron.
Those left to cherish her memory are her mother, Doris Ann Cambron; brothers, Norman (Melissa) Cambron and Joe Cambron of Owensboro; sister, Debra (Rick) Houston of Spring City, TN; aunt, Linda Horn of Owensboro; and cousin, Diana Williams of Owensboro.
Pam worked hard at everything she did. She had an adventurous soul which led her to traveling the world, but she found her way back to her roots in Kentucky.
She LOVED with her whole heart more than anything all of her nieces and nephews and her, “babies” the great nieces and nephews, Samantha (Chad, Kees, Kiptyn) Burcham of Owensboro, Megan (Tim, Ellis, Riley, Sloan) Mischel of Owensboro, Blake (Hunter) Cambron of Owensboro, Casey (Megan, Amelia, Charlie, Liam) Cambron of Ferdinand, IN, and Michelle (Brynnan) Boarman of Owensboro. The word, “No” was never in Pam’s vocabulary when it came to her babies. Her pockets and purse were always full of candy and her heart was full of love.
Pam was always the life of the party and could light up any room. She has always been the most thoughtful and caring hearted person. Pam’s final act of kindness was to give the gift of life through organ and tissue donation.
