Palmer Lee Adams

Palmer Lee Adams, of Owensboro born on December 9, 1943, left this earth for his heavenly home on February 1, 2019. Palmer was born to the late Kerney and Dora Scott Adams. Mr. Adams retired from the Owensboro Public School System. Palmer Lee Adams…when you hear that, you think of just another name, but to the Adams family, he was the foundation. He kept everything together and both loved and served his family in every way. Palmer died knowing he was deeply loved by his family.

Palmer is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Beth Adams; only son, Gary Adams; three daughters, Tina Norris (Boots), Nicki Whitehouse, and Tiffany Marcum (Steven), 11 grandchildren, Cole Norris, Britany Crowe, Blake Adams, Chase Adams, Jordan Adams, Janson Adams, Brandon Adams, Alexis Whitehouse, Shane Marcum, Jasmine Marcum, and Jessie Marcum; and sister, Mary Havener.

The funeral service for Mr. Adams will be 12 pm Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at Immanuel Baptist Church. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10 until time of service at the church. Burial will take place at Rosehill cemetery.
