Ozona Roach Russelburg

March 11, 1914 — January 28, 2002

Ozona Roach Russelburg, 87, of Owensboro, died Monday, January 28, 2002 at the Owensboro Mercy Health System. The Ohio County native was a homemaker and member of St Stephen Cathedral. She enjoyed quilting.

She was preceded in death by her husband James Onis Russelburg in 1980 and a son, James Houston Russelburg in 1960.

She is survived by three sons, Kenneth Russelburg of Palos Heights, IL, Daniel Russelburg of Cloverport, and Philip Russelburg of Robbins, TN; three daughters, Mary Lillian Chashen of Hammond, IN, Shirley Ann Rearden and Betty Lou Pate of Cloverport; 28 grandchildren; 51 great grandchildren, seven step-great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; a brother, Marion Carter Roach of Owensboro; and two sisters, Lincky Anstadt of Georgia and Vina Lee Gilbert of Owensboro.

Funeral services are 10 A.M. Wednesday, January 31, 2002 at St Stephen Cathedral with burial in St Mary of the Woods Cemetery in Whitesville. Friends may call at the Glenn Funeral Home from 2-8 P.M. on Wednesday and after 8:30 A.M. on Thursday. Prayers will be said at 6 P.M. on Wednesday.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form on donations to the American Diabetes Association. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
