Ozell McComber Dragoo

Ozell McComber Dragoo, 88, of Owensboro passed away Saturday, November 10, 2012 at Owensboro Place. Born in Carter County, OK on October 6, 1924, she was the daughter of the late James W. and Cora Gilliam McComber; was a member of Bells Run Baptist Church; and had worked as a Nurse Assistant. Mrs. Dragoo loved quilting, gardening and going out to eat. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Ralph M. Dragoo in 2011; a daughter Judy Pearl Dragoo in 1967; and three brothers and two sisters.

Surviving is a brother, James "Jack" (Mary) McComber of Oklahoma; a brother-in-law, Lawrence (Juanita) Dragoo of Pleasant Ridge; a sister-in-law, Edna Dragoo of Crofton; and many nieces and nephews.

Services are 12 noon Tuesday, November 13, 2012 in the Chapel of Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. John Cummins officiating followed by burial in Bells Run Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Monday, November 12 and after 11 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
