Owen Matthew Gordon

Owen Matthew Gordon peacefully began a new journey to his eternal home in the presence of family, Thursday February 11, 2016 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Owen was born 6:07a.m weighing only 13 ounces and only 10 inches long. His beating heart came to a still silence only a few hours later at 9:40a.m. During his beautiful, unforgettable, short 3 1/2 hours with loved ones, Owen experienced the touch and sounds of many, captured hugs and kisses from mommy and daddy while hearing their voices express "I Love You" and a gratefulness to have shared life with him. Owen grew from a loving family tree consisting of the late "Great Granddad James" and "Granddad Berger".
Grieving in their goodbyes are Owen's parents, Matthew and Nancy Gordon and his sisters Kelsie and Ryleigh Gordon.
Owen is survived in life by his Grand Family, Glendora James, Eileen Berger, Cynthia and Keith Gordon, Brenda Burgess and Edith and Dean Nichols, along with many loving Aunts, Uncles and other extended family members.
Owen's Service will be 2:00p.m. Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory located at 900 Old Hartford Rd., Owensboro, KY 42303 with Pastor Karla Fullwood officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery located at 5404 Leitchfield Rd, Owensboro, KY 42303.
