Oval C. Coots

Oval C. Coots Jr., 68, of Cromwell, passed away January 14, 2017, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born January 11, 1949 in Cromwell, KY to the late Oval Earl and Hallie Coots. O.C. was a member of Cromwell United Methodist Church. He spent his career as a truck driver with several companies and most recently was self-employed. O.C. loved cars, racing and playing cards. He also enjoyed cooking and gardening. He loved and was proud of all his children and grandchildren.

O.C. was preceded in death by a sister, Loretta Mayes.

He is survived by wife, Faye Coots; children, Justin Wade Coots (Shannon); Jennifer Camille Segers (Steve), Oval Clayton Coots (Samantha); grandchildren, Dru Barrett, Brooke and Halle Segers, Hayden and Sophia Coots; great-grandchildren, Harmony, Addy and Jessa Barrett; sisters, Luzetta Snodgrass (David) and Patsey Daugherty; aunts, Morzola Sizmore and Helen Henderson and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 21, 2017 at Cromwell United Methodist Church where visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions made to Cromwell United Methodist Church.
