Oscar "Buster" Ezell, 97, of Utica, passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2008, at the Owensboro Medical Health System. He was born November 26, 1910 to the late John Thomas and Harriet Fraim Ezell in Muhlenberg County. He was a Mason and retired from Houston Mark Fabrications.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Grace Saling Ezell in 1987, a son, Oscar Thomas Ezell, two daughters, Edith Nohe and Gladys Jean Luttrell, two granddaughters, Judy Quinn and Shannon Richardson, and a grandson, Ricky Hall.
Survivors include his sons, Paul Ezell and his wife, Virginia of Owensboro, Darrell Ezell and Ed Ezell and his wife, Ruth of Utica; thirteen grandchildren, Gracie Payne, Paul Ezell, Jr., Josh Hall, Jeana Draper, Sherry Meek, Sue Rainier, Kenny Ezell, Kathy Anderson, Shelly Burton, Sheila Wardlow, Bruce Richardson, Kevin Ezell, and Mark Ezell; several great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Carl Ezell of Utica, and J.T. Ezell of Philpot.
Services will be 12:00 PM Friday, at Glenn Funeral Home, with Rev. Tim Hall officiating. Burial will be in Echols General Baptist Church Cemetery in Ohio County. Visitation will be 2:00 until 8:00 PM Thursday, and after 10:00 AM Friday at the funeral home.
