Orilla Hazel Holmes, 77, of Calhoun, formerly of Owensboro, died Saturday, July 14, 2001, at Riverside Manor Nursing Home in Calhoun. The Daviess County native was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Emmitt Holmes in 1995; and a daughter, Donna Gale Holmes in 1996.
Survivors include a son, Kenneth Holmes of Owensboro; a daughter, Darlene Feldpausche of Owensboro; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
There are no services. There is no visitation. Private burial will be in Mount Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery in Owensboro. Glenn Funeral Home in Owensboro is in charge of arrangements.
