Opal Likins Virnig

Opal Likins Virnig of Owensboro was born Feb. 1,1922 in Philpot, KY and passed into Jesus' presence Nov. 7, 2014 after a long period of declining health. She was the daughter of Edith Martin-Likins and Joseph Likins -- the youngest of 6 children, all predeceasing Opal. She is survived by her husband, Morris, daughter Marian (John) Liebenow, sons, Paul (Lisa) and Steve (Nancy), grandchildren Gretchen, Patricia, Peter, Elisabeth, Luke, Kara, Matthew, Timothy, and 15 great grandchildren. She graduated from Daviess County High School and was a member of Heritage Baptist Church. Visitation on Saturday, Nov. 15 at Christ Presbyterian Church 10 AM to 1 PM, with service at 1 PM. Burial will follow at Lions Club Cemetary, Fordsville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Care Net Pregnancy Center, Owensboro. Online Guestbook may be signed at www.glennfuneralhome.com
