Ola Mae Palmer
December 14, 1914 — May 25, 2002
Ola Mae Palmer, 87, of 1230 Woodlawn Ave, (formerly of Louisville), died Saturday, May 25, 2002 at the Hermitage Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. The Pleasant Ridge native retired as a pre-school teacher at the YWCA. She was a member of the Sweeney Street Baptist Church, a bridge club and enjoyed gardening and traveling. Her husband, James L. Palmer, preceded her in death in 1993.
She is survived by a brother, Thomas James of Owensboro and an aunt, Edna Payne of Owensboro.
Funeral services are 1 P.M. Wednesday, May 29, 2002 at the A.D. Porter Funeral Home, 1300 W. Chestnut , Louisville, KY with entombment in Evergreen Cemetery. Glenn Funeral Home handled local arrangements.
