Odena Rickard Coon

Odena Rickard Coon, 84, of Owensboro, went to be with the Lord, Thursday,April 7, 2005. The Muhlenberg County native was born to the late Charlie and Laura (Harris) Rickard. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Coon; and her siblings, AlmaWalker, Elzie Rickard, Flossie Chandler,Sina Mercer, and Paul Rickard.
Survivors include two sons, James Coon of Stelle, IL and Ricky Coon of Owensboro; two daughters, Janice Payne of Owensboro and Barbara Dominguez of Paramount, CA; a brother, E.T. Rickard of Owensboro; six grandchildren and five great-granchildren.and another on the way.
Funeral services will be Sunday, April 10, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at Glenn Funeral Home Chapel,with burial following at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. Saturday, and after 12 p.m. Sunday.
