Odell Lindsey

Odell Lindsey, 75, of 2502 Ebach Street, died Wednesday, February 23, 2005 at his residence. He was born April 13, 1929 in Butler County, Kentucky to the late Vannie and Dorothy Colburn Lindsey. He was a member of Hall Street Baptist Church. He retired as a maintenance man from the Owensboro Housing Authority.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Pinkston Lindsey; a son, Larry Lindsey; a brother, Walter Lindsey; and a sister, Lorena Warren.

Survivors include two daughters, Lisa Sorrells of Owensboro and Karen Sue Miller of Hartford; a son, Gary of Owensboro; two sisters, Daisey Kellems of Champaigne, IL and Corene Pinkston of Owensboro; seven grandchildren, Amy Crick, Gary Lindsey Jr., Matthew Lindsey, Jennifer Sorrells, Melissa Sorrells, Michael Miller and Miranda Lindsey; and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, February 25, 2005 at the Chapel of Peace in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until service time on Friday at the funeral home.
