Norma June Naylor

"Together Again"

Norma "June" Naylor, 87, of Owensboro, passed away Thursday, December 25, 2014 at Signature Healthcare Hillcrest. She was born in Petersburg, Indiana to the late Louis and Oma Traylor.

June was a loving and dedicated homemaker and a member of Owensboro Christian Church. She enjoyed needlework of all kinds and was an avid stamp collector as a member of Owensboro Stamp Club. June and her husband, Bud, had also camped in 47 of the contiguous states in the U.S. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. "Bud" Naylor; sisters, Viola Hicks and Jeannie Colgate; brothers, Robert and Donald Traylor; and a great-granddaughter, Ember O'Neil.

She is survived by her daughter, Carol Jackson (Alan) of Owensboro; sons, Wayne Naylor (Frances) of Owensboro and William F. O'Neil of South Carolina; grandchildren, Vicki O'Neil, Shanna Herrington, Tammy O'Neil, Tracy Naylor, Joshua Jackson (Melissa) and Caleb Jackson (Kari); and several great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 3 PM Sunday, December 28 at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Sorgho. Myke Templeton will officiate. Visitation will be from 12 - 2:15 PM Sunday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory.
