Norine Jolly Taylor

Norine Jolly Taylor, 90, of Utica died Friday, September 28, 2001, at Owensboro Mercy Health System. The Daviess County native was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church, where she played the piano. She was a 50-year member of the Eastern Star. She and her husband owned and operated a general store in Pleasant Ridge for 28 years. She enjoyed crocheting, crafts, cooking and playing the piano.

Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Diamon Taylor; several nephews and nieces; and several cousins.

Services are at 2 p.m. Monday at Mount Carmel Baptist Church, with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation is from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 10 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Monday at Glenn Funeral Home.
