Norbert Joseph "Bert" Strozewski, 87, of Utica, passed away on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at his home. He was born in Chicago, IL on March 7, 1925 to the late Edmund and Casimira Wasik Strozewski. He was retired as a moldmaker and worked in his own machine shop and for Abbott Laboratories. Bert attended Mt. Carmel Baptist Church and a U. S. Navy veteran. He enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle and watching his favorite football team, the Green Bay Packers. His wife Clara said he was the best husband a woman could ever have.
Surviving are his wife Clara Mae, which he has been together with for 44 years, three children, daughter Leslie and sons Paul and Gary, all of Chicago, four grandchildren, one great grandchild, a sister, Trudy Gander of Elk Grove Village, IL, and two brothers, Victor Strozewski of Minnesota and Conrad Strozewski of Wisconsin.
Graveside services and burial will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, May 26 at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until 1:15 P.M. Saturday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory.
