Nora Evelyn Meador

Nora Evelyn Meador, 88, of Owensboro, went to be with the Lord on May 2, 2015. Nora was born on September 15, 1926 in Owensboro to the late Everett and Bertha Boling Meador. She attended Whitesville High School and graduated in 1945. She was a member of Eaton Memorial Baptist Church, was previously the organist at Wing Ave Baptist Church, and was a past member of The Pilot Club. She retired from Texas Gas after working there for over 35 years.

Survivors include her sisters, Nannie Jean McCaskill of Monroe, LA, and Ruth Irene Cox and Husband Lloyd of Owensboro; nephew Roy Everett (Linda) McCaskill of Monroe, LA; and niece Judy Evelyn (Corky) McCorkern of West Monroe, LA

The funeral service will be held 11 am Tuesday May 5, 2015 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be from 2 pm until 8 pm on Monday and after 9:30 am on Tuesday. Burial will follow at Rosehill Cemetery.
