Nola Dene Wells

Nola Dene Wells, 72, of 807 Glenn Court, Owensboro, died Sunday at Owensboro Mercy Health System. The Todd County native was a homemaker and attended Macedonia Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, her flowers, reading and spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, J. R. Wells of Owensboro, her children, Gayla Ann Hoffman of Owensboro, Greg Wells of Summerfield, North Carolina, Becky Evans of Owensboro, and Scott Wells of Owensboro, a sister, Peggy Willis of Ocala, Florida, four grandchildren, Matt Hoffman, Lacey Hoffman, Abbi Evans and Devon Wells, and a great-granddaughter, Cloey Mae Hoffman, all of Owensboro. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 20, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. at Glenn Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2 to 8:00 p.m. and after 10:00 a.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Owensboro Memorial Gardens.
