Mrs. Nina Mae Ray, 57, of 9906 Kelly Cemetery Road, Maceo, KY, died Wednesday, January 07, 2004, at Owensboro Medical Health System. She was born December 25, 1946, to Rosco and Beulah Barker Isom, in Daviess County. She was a nurse, working at Owensboro Medical Health System for three years and at Green River Behavior Health for seven years. She was a member of Maceo Baptist Church, and loved spending time with her family and her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband of 37 wonderful years, Chester P. Ray; one daughter, Nancy Ray Brandle and son-in-law, Kenny R. Brandle Jr. of Whitesville; and three grandchildren, Alyssa Nicole Brandle and Nicholas Aaron Chase Brandle, both of Whitesville, and Kera Cassie Brandle of Owensboro; a sister, Anna Horsley and her husband Jesse Horsley of Maceo, KY.
Services will be 10:00 AM Friday, January 9, 2004, at Glenn Funeral Home, with entombment in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 4:00 until 8:00 PM Thursday, and after 8:30 AM Friday at the funeral home.
