Nina M. Ohearn

Nina OHearn, 81, of 2456 Mayfair Dr., Owensboro, passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2005, at her home. She was born in Richmond, Ky. to the late John M. & Catherine Adams Hurley. She was a homemaker and had also taught home economics in the Bellevue, Ky. area. She was a graduate of Eastern Ky. University in Richmond. She was a member of First Christian Church and the Friendship Sunday School Class. She also was a member of the Christian Womens Fellowship at the church and had volunteered for many years at the churchs day care. She was a member of the Women;s Ky. Dental Auxiliary Assoc. She enjoyed going on trips with the Golden Partners, reading, playing bridge, and loved going on outdoor sportsman trips and hunting with her late husband, T. J. OHearn who passed away on August 14, 1988.

She is survived by a son, Kevin OHearn of Owensboro, two daughters and their spouses, Karen and Bill Lacy and Kathy and Mike Reed, all of Louisville, Ky, and six grandchildren, Alex OHearn, Sydney OHearn, Dani Lacy, Kathleen Reed, Andrew Reed, and Michaela Reed.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 28, at the First Christian Church with burial following in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 P.M. Monday and after 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at the Glenn Funeral Home.
