Nina McBrayer

August 20, 1922 — February 27, 2016

Nina McBrayer, 93, known lovingly to everyone as "Gran-Gran", died Friday, February 27th, 2016 at her home in Lexington, KY. Born in Whitesville, KY to the late Mabel and George Fulkerson, Nina lived most of her life in Owensboro with her late husband, Paul McBrayer. Nina was a perfect mother, talented, and was always happy.

Nina is survived by her two daughters, Betty McBrayer and her husband, Ron Stewart of Phoenix, AZ, Mary McBrayer Greer and her husband, Phil, of Lexington; she was blessed with four grandchildren, the late Karen Blake of Phoenix, AZ, Dr. Kelli Greer Webb and her husband, Woodford, Lee Greer and his wife, Nicole, both of Lexington, and Kristen Greer Woolery and her husband Jim, of New York; nine great-grandchildren, Cody Newville and Kacey Frazier both of Airzona, Heather Weaver of Texas, Ford Webb and Greer Webb both of Lexington, Stella Woolery and Rose Woolery, both of New York, Lillie Greer and Liza Greer, both of Lexington; two great-great-grandchildren, Presley Frazier and Haley Weaver; sister, Mary Helen Voyles of Tell City, IN and a host of nieces and nephews.

Services will be 12:00 noon Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory in Owensboro. Burial will follow at Rosehill Cemetery.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Hospice of The Bluegrass.

Gran-Gran will be greatly missed by all who loved her so very much.
