Nellie Ruth Nanny Pierce Smith, 55, of 2802 W. 4th. Street, Owensboro, died on Thursday, June 10, 2004. She was born in Daviess Co., Ky., had been a private sitter, and was a member of the Lighthouse Baptist Church in Central City. She enjoyed reading and listening to gospel music.
Surviving is her brother and his wife, Lawrence & Mary Pierce, Jr. of Owensboro, and several nieces & nephews.
Services will be at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, June 13, at the Glenn Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be from 2:00-7:00 P.M. Saturday and after Noon on Sunday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Goodloe Center, 820 W. 3rd. St., Owensboro, Ky. 42301.
