Nellie T. Robins

Nellie T. Robins, 93, of Owensboro died Saturday, August 28, 2004 at Hillcrest Healthcare Center. She was born January 25, 1911 to the late Will and Lula Noble Staples in Henderson County, Kentucky. She was a member of Parrish Avenue Baptist Church. Ms. Robins retired from the Toddle House where she was a former manager.

She was preceded in death by a son, Andrew Karl Anderson in 1997.

Survivors include a son, William T. Anderson and his wife Donna L. of Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, six grandchildren, Dorothy Anderson of Seattle, Washington, William T. Anderson Jr. of Lodi, New Jersey, Helen Anderson, R.N. and Mary Anderson both of Portland, Oregon, Valerie Anderson of Staten Island, New York, and Theresa Toland of Owensboro, a nephew and his wife, Jerry and Gayle Howton of Owensboro, seven great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was the worlds best mother-in-law and a superb cook. She loved her cat and she loved to crochet.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday, August 31 at Glenn Funeral Home. Visitation is from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Tuesday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Daniel Pitino Shelter. Online messages of condolence may be left at www.glennfuneralhome.com.
