Nellie B. Mason

Nellie B. Mason, 84, of Leisure Years, formerly of 2020 Hall Street, Owensboro died Monday, June 18, 2001 at Owensboro Mercy Health System. She was born February 10, 1917 in Daviess County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late John A. and Jennie V. Bray Rayman. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Mason, Sr., on April 16, 1996.

Mrs. Mason was a homemaker and a member of Hall Street Baptist Church where she was a member of the Love Sunday School Class.

She is survived by a son, Edgar Butch Mason, Jr., of Owensboro; two daughter, Imogene Jeannie Loyd and Peggy Oliver both of Owensboro; seven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; three step great-grandchildren; a brother, Harold Rayman of Owensboro; a sister, Ellen Dee Ford of Owensboro.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday June 20, 2001 at Glenn Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Reverend Joe Kitchens. Burial will follow in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Her family will receive friends at Glenn Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday June 19, 2001, and after 10:00 a.m. Wednesday.
