Nell M. Butler

Ms. Nell M. Butler, age 93 went home to be with her heavenly father on September 11, 2015 in Owensboro, she was born on March 22, 1922 in Ohio County to the late William and Bessie (Carpenter) Burton.

Nell worked and retired from Chrysler Corporation in Detroit Michigan, Nell enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. She loved her flowers that her family would plant for her. She will be sadly missed by her family and many friends.

Nell was preceded in death by her parents; one brother: Kenneth Burton, two sisters: Evelyn Heppler, and Lula Bell Boling.

Nell is survived by her daughter: Rebecca Blankenship of Owensboro, two sons: William (Jane) York, Jerry Lee (Kathy) York Sr. both of Smyrna, TN grandchildren: Terri Guteriez, Kay Everett, Roy Blankenship, Mary Wilson, Ray Blankenship, Jennifer McKnight, Lisa Wilhelm, Marsha Mackie, Jerry Lee York Jr. also 14 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren.

Private service by the family will be held at a later date.
