Nathan Shreve, 41, of Philpot, passed away February 11, 2017 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Born August 3, 1975, to David Shreve and Ruth Phillips, Nathan was a dedicated individual who could do anything he set his mind to. He was a graduate of Daviess County High School. Nathan held a CNA license and was a certified Harley Davidson Mechanic. He also had a love for riding motorcycles, enjoyed rooting on his favorite team, the Pittsburgh Steelers and was a member of the Cowboy Fast Draw Association, where they knew him as "Kentucky Drifter". Most recently, Nathan worked at ASG as an Industrial Elevator Mechanic. Nathan was a Christian. He loved God, his family and his furry four-legged friend, Molly.
Nathan is survived by wife, Susan Shreve; children, Alex Shreve, Nathan Shreve, Morgan Shreve, Cassidy Shreve, Vivianne Shreve and Grace Shreve; Mother, Ruth Phillips (Jerry); father, David Shreve (Mary); sister, Donna Shreve Craft; half-brother, Robert Shreve (Sondra); step-sisters, Sheila Royal (Tim), Angie Leachman (Tim), Jennifer Pierson (Roger); step-brothers, Jerry Lynn Phillips, Scott Boling (Becky), Brent Boling; grandmother, Ruby Phillips; father and mother-in-law, Bob and Felicia Sanders; a special niece, Lacey Hardaway (Brandon) and several more nieces and nephews.
Services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 17, 2017 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with Fr. Bruce McCarty officiating. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Thursday and after 10:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
