Naomi Kilby Jones

Naomi Kilby Jones, 90, of Owensboro died on December 22, 2014, at her home. She was born July 12, 1924, to the late Mr. & Mrs. Lee Kilby of Campbellsville, Ky. She retired from J.C. Penney's in Oklahoma and loved gardening and quilting. Naomi attended Macedonia Baptist Church. She was preceeded in death by her husband, George E. Jones; a son in law, Joe; four bothers, Roy, Elza, Howard and Troy; and one sister, Ella.

Survivors include her son, Roger (Cheryl) Jones; daughter Anita L. Hearne, all of Owensboro; eight grandchildren, Alan, Darryl, Will, Heather, Courtney, Kara, Daniel and Joey; five great grandchildren, Colten, Dustin, Braxton, Maddox and Josie; sisters Leona Pike, Ruth (Bill) VanCleave and Herlene Kilby, all of Campbellsville; many nieces and nephews, and caretaker Shaye Robertson.

Services will be graveside Wednesday, December 31st at 1:00PM at Oakwood Cemetary in Hartford, KY.
