Nancy Welch

Nancy Ford Welch, 64, of 2830 Asbury Place, Owensboro, passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2006, at her home. She was born in Daviess Co., Ky. to the late Sam & Helen Christian Ford. She was of the Baptist faith and was a homemaker. She loved to go to garage sales looking for antiques, watching Nascar racing, U. K. basketball, and Billy Graham revivals on television, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving is her husband of 24 years, Wendell Welch, two sons, Robert Norris and John & wife Tina Hale, all of Owensboro, four daughters, Sarah & husband James Estes of Tell City, In., Susan & husband Dennis Payne of Sophia, N. C., Stephanie & husband Noah Thayer of Owensboro, and Morgan Welch at home, a brother and his wife, Bill & Carolyn Ford of Philpot, and a sister and her husband, Betsy & Jerry Sumner of Owensboro, 13 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Services will be at 11:30 A.M. Wednesday, June 14, at Christ Chapel at Owensboro Memorial Gardens with burial following. There will be no visitation.
