Nancy Harreld Troutman, 80, of 2200 Mayfair Drive, Owensboro, died Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at her home. Born in Owensboro, a daughter of the late Arthur Carson and Margaret Belle Bivins Harreld, Mrs. Troutman graduated from Owensboro High School and retired from the Owensboro Board of Education in 1986. A member of Lewis Lane Baptist Church, she enjoyed her grandchildren, bridge, and watching baseball. Preceding her in death were her husband, Louis Burnis Troutman in 1994, her brother, Carson Bivins Harreld, and her sister, Mary Jane Wilson.
Surviving are her daughter, Marilyn Troutman Parham and her husband Freddie, of Greenville; her sons, Dr. Mark Louis Troutman and his wife Judy, of Morganfield and Timothy Harreld Troutman and his wife Rhonda, of Owensboro; and her grandchildren, Leslie Suzanne Parham, of Lexington, Lacey Troutman Buckler and her husband Greg, of Lexington, and Dr. Timothy Harreld Troutman, Jr. and Lauren Katherine Troutman, both of Owensboro.
Services, officiated by the Rev. Dr. Guy Deane, Jr., are 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Glenn Funeral Home, where visitation will be from 3:00 until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and after 9:00 a.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Hospice and Palliative Care of the Ohio Valley.
