Nancy Pauline Stephens

Nancy Pauline Stephens, 89, of 1729 Daviess Street, Owensboro, died Wednesday, March 29, 2006 at Owensboro Medical Health System. She was born July 7, 1916 to the late Robert L. and Lona Bell Givens Benson in Butler County. A member of Third Baptist Church, she worked at W.T. Grant after raising her children. She had dedicated her life to loving and raising her family.

Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Henry B. Stephens, Sr.; her sons, Henry B. Stephens, Jr. and his wife, Dottie of Lexington, Dr. Robert C. Stephens and his wife, Dr. Joy Stephens of Parkland, FL; her daughters, Paula A. Powell and her husband, Ron of Louisville, Janice K. Glasser and her husband, Dr. Jack Glasser of Bowling Green, and Mary Jane Prather and her husband, Jeff of Wheaton, IL; grandchildren, Brian Stephens, Amber Ruffner, Stephen and Todd Powell, Kelly and Lauren Glasser, Clark Stephens and David Prather; and eight great-grandchildren.

Services will be 11:00 AM Monday at Third Baptist Church with burial in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00 until 6:00 PM Sunday at Glenn Funeral Home.
