Nancy Jo Bickett

Nancy Jo Bickett, 73, of Knottsville, passed away on Saturday, October 2, 2010 at Owensboro Medical Health System. She was born on July 10, 1937 in Jefferson Co., Ky. to the late Hoover and Margaret Sublett Hester. She was a member of St. Williams and St. Lawrence Catholic Churches and was a homemaker. She loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and sitting on her porch in her swing watching the kids play. She was a very loving wife, mother, and grandmother and will be greatly missed and loved always. She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Heather Lynn Bickett in 2003.

Surviving are her husband of 51 years, Thomas E. Bickett, five sons, Gary Bickett and wife Michell, Patrick Bickett, Steve Bickett and wife Kathy, Joe Paul Bickett and wife Kim, and Mike Bickett, all of Philpot, six grandchildren, Justin, Haleigh, Chelsea, Eric, Alyssa, and Jayden Bickett, a great granddaughter, Lyvienne Bickett, two sisters, Sylvia Hamilton and husband Don and Kathy Ward and husband Allen, of Owensboro, and a brother, Virgil Hester, Jr. of Owensboro.

Services will be 10:30 A.M. Tuesday, October 5 at St. Williams Catholic Church with burial following in St. Williams Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 P.M. Monday and after 8:30 A.M. Tuesday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Prayers will be 6:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.
